    Elko Sanitation** , a Waste Connections company, is looking for a _safety conscience_ **Yard** **Laborer/Container Repair** to join the team in **Elko, NV!

    **Schedule: Mon-Fri, 6:00am-3:00pm** (Flexible) with occasional overtime

     

    .

     

    Starting pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

    **Must have a clean driving record, pass criminal background check, & 5 panel drug screening to be eligible for employment.**

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Manual labor including paper picking, keepingyardclean and presentable.

    + Washing, repairing, and assembling trash bins andcontainers

    + Traffic management.

    + Performyard workincluding cutting weeds.

    + Perform general office maintenance and repairs includingpaintingand janitorial work.

    + Working outside in all weather conditions.

    + Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

    + Operatesrecyclingbaler.

    + Operates skid steer and forklift.

    WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:

    + Work involves constant exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, toxic chemicals, biohazardous materials, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and/or loud noises

    + Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds.

    + Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basicsafetyprecautions.

    MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    + **Valid driver’s license with Clean Driving Record** (MVR)

    + **Must pass Criminal background check**

    + **Must pass Drug screen**

    + Working knowledge of D.O.T. laws

    + Ability to read, write and comprehend reports to complete daily assignments in English.
