    Scale Clerk

     

    Wage: $18-20/hr

     

    Schedule: 1st shift, rotating 7am or 8am start time

    Job Description:

    A local recycling company is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Scale Clerk to join our team. The Scale Clerk plays a key role in daily operations by managing truck scales, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent customer service.

    Responsibilities:

    + Weigh inbound and outbound trucks and accurately record load information.

    + Manage and coordinate the daily load schedule to ensure efficient traffic flow.

    + Perform data entry and maintain accurate documentation of all transactions.

    + Answer phones, assist drivers and customers, and provide general office support.

    Qualifications:

    + Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

    + Good communication and organizational skills.

    + Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

    + Basic computer skills; experience with scale software is a plus.

    + Experience with accounting and payroll is a must.

    Schedule:

    + 3 week rotation of working a range of 7:00 – 3:30 and 8:00 – 4:30.

    Compensation:

    + Pay is dependent on experience, ranging from $18 to $21 per hour.
