    **Job Title:** Assistant Professor, Neurosurgery

    Position Summary:

    The UR Medicine Department of Neurosurgery is recruiting a dedicated and skilled Neurosurgeon with a principal focus on delivering exceptional neurosurgical care at Bassett Medical Center and Strong Memorial Hospital. The successful candidate will maintain a full clinical schedule, providing comprehensive services across multiple care settings, including outpatient offices and operating rooms at both locations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Deliver high-quality neurosurgical care to local and regional patients across Bassett Medical Center and Strong Memorial Hospital.

    + Provide clinical services in outpatient and surgical settings.

    + Collaborate with regional physicians and hospitals to improve access to neurosurgical care and ensure treatment in the most appropriate setting.

    + Contribute to the education of residents, medical students, and fellow physicians through clinical instruction and mentorship.

    + Participate in and support neurosurgical research initiatives.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    + MD (or equivalent) required.

    + Board certified or board eligible in Neurosurgery.

    + Fellowship training in Neurosurgery preferred.

    + Strong commitment to patient care, education, and research.

    + Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

    + Interest in academic medicine and medical education.
