Description
The Department of Orthodontics of the Eastman Institute for Oral Health, in the School of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Rochester Medical Center is seeking to hire a faculty member at the rank of Associate Professor of Clinical Dentistry. Responsibilities include teaching, supervising clinical, and research activities of residents in the Orthodontics training program clinic. A medical staff faculty appointment at Eastman Dental Center is required.
Qualifications
Education: DDS/DMD or equivalent degree. Post-doctoral residency in Orthodontics or experiential equivalent in hospital-based dentistry or post-doctoral degree. A Master’s degree and board certification are preferred.
Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in hospital-based (or affiliate) practice
License/Certification Required: NYS Dental license. Must be credentialed with approved DOP per medical staff guidelines.
Skills: As delineated in credentials and DOP
Post-offer health assessment is required
