    **Tradesmen International** is immediately hiring experienced **Large Horizontal Boring Mill (LHBM) Machinist** for a project located in **N Tonawanda, NY** . This is a first shift opportunity and **the pay rate is up to $34/hour** based on experience and skill level.     Job Scope:

    + Operate & maintain large horizontal boring mil (LHBM) equipment

    + Use micrometers, calipers, tape measures and scales to verify dimensions and tolerances

    + Observe machining process and product quality to detect malfunctions

    + Troubleshoot, adjust and reprogram machine controls as needed

    + Sharpen and replace worn tools

    + Adhere to quality assurance procedures and processes

    Requirements:

    + Formal training as a machinist preferred

    + Proficient with micrometers, calipers, tape measures and scales

    + Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings

    + Ability to troubleshoot, adjust and reprogram controls

    + Ability to sharpen and replace worn tools

    + Quality assurance focus and adherence to QA procedures
