Job Description:

Parsons is looking for a talented and experienced **Senior Systems Engineer** to join our Systems Engineering support team in the Missile Defense Agency Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Product Office. In this role you will directly support the GMD Chief & Deputy Systems Engineers with detailed technical analysis and verification of GMD Element Specification and integration updates and verification closures. You will directly support the evolution of key capability enhancements to the GMD weapon system in support of Next Generation Missile Defense and Golden Dome for America integration. This position is part of Parsons’ Federal Solutions team providing Systems Engineering Technical Assistance to the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Product Office under the Teams-Next Missile Defense Systems Engineering (TN-MDSE) contract managed by the Missile Defense Agency.

What You'll Be Doing:

+ Supporting the government with GMD Element specification updates and review of industry proposed closure actions

+ Coordinating requirement verification closure actions across the GM Product Office as direct support to the GMD Verification Review Working Group (VRWG) and Verification Review Board (VRB)​

+ Assisting the GM Deputy System Engineer (DSE) with development, coordination, and implementation of an updated GM Systems Engineering Plan

+ Preparing recommended updates to the GM Systems Engineering Plan and coordinating GMD Engineering Review Board approval packages

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

+ Active Secret clearance

+ Bachelor's degree in STEM program with 20+ years experience with Department of Defense Systems Engineering principles and processes

+ 15+ years experience in Department of Defense managed ballistic missile defense development, testing, integration, and fielding

+ Demonstrated experience integrating missile defense and command and control weapon systems as part of the Department of Defense managed Missile Defense System

• **What Desired Skills You'll Bring:**

+ Missile Defense Agency Systems Engineering experience highly desired

+ Masters degree in STEM program

+ TS/SCI clearance

+ Requirements Management, Verification, and Validation

+ Familiarity with the MDA Systems Engineering Plan

+ Familiarity with the Ground-based Midcourse Defense technical architecture and capabilities

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.​

Salary Range: $120,800.00 - $217,400.00
