    Position Summary

    The Building Automation Systems Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, configuring and programming software and hardware for DOC Building Automation Systems.

    Position Details

    + Collaborate with the engineering team on the system configuration, network and software requirements, graphics, programming, and sequences of operations.

    + Configures the graphics, database, network, and integrations.

    + Develops programming, graphics, and sequences of operations for DOC control systems.

    + Maintains accurate and thorough project documentation and redlines.

    + Records and communicates deviations to the project team.

    + Executes system functional testing and commissioning.

    + Executes systems upgrades and BAS maintenance on exiting accounts.

    + Provides owner trainings required by the project.

    + Provide high quality customer service and in line with operational processes.

    + Capable of pulling wires as needed

    Qualifications

    + Niagara N4 certification and experience required

    + JCI, Honeywell, and/or Trane controller experience helpful but not required for consideration

    + Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills

    + Thorough understanding of testing, validation and troubleshooting of large and complex controls systems

    + Thorough understanding of mechanical systems, equipment, and common controls sequences along with fundamental control theory and logic

    + Excellent writing and computer skills with proficient knowledge of MSOffice applications

    + Ability to maintain diplomacy and professionalism while engaged in high pressure situations

    + Excellent time-management and organizational skills

    + Thorough understanding of building automation and mechanical systems

    + Ability to write programming for automation systems

    + Understanding of I/T networks and networked systems

    + Ability to integrate systems on different platforms

    + Effective communicator

    + Niagra 4 certification
