As a **Security Officer - Telecom Patrol Specialist** in **Mountain View, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech-focused location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. You will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service while interacting with employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor for suspicious activity and report any security-related concerns according to Allied Universal protocols.

+ Support the protection of assets and personnel by maintaining a visible presence and assisting with access control as required.

+ Communicate clearly with staff, visitors, and/or contractors to provide assistance and information as needed.

+ Complete incident reports and daily activity logs in accordance with Allied Universal and client guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

+ Experience with computers or tablets is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ A valid guard card or license is preferred.

+ Experience with alarm panels is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
