Job Summary: The Clinical Sourcing & Analytics Contract Coordinator manages the processes and functions in support of contracting activities to ensure accurate forecasting for contracts, the execution and administration of contracts and contract change notices and amendments (including any associated data analysis) and determining need for corrective actions when contract operations and performance are not optimal. Manages Contract portfolio, including negotiating contracts, maintaining master contract database, managing pricing for items in item master, implementing GPO and non-GPO contracts, supply chain analysis, cost savings analysis and supply utilization/cost analysis in relation to reimbursement and service line profitability. Will serve as liaison to product value analysis teams. Collaborates with key internal and external stakeholders to gain support and consensus for product standardization/conversion opportunities for the purpose of lowering cost and improving quality metrics and outcome expectations. Conducts vendor meetings for awareness of products and new offerings, negotiations on contractual agreements and monitoring of business relationships. Demonstrates CaroMont CARES. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required. Master’s degree preferred. Five to seven years experience in healthcare materials management or related supply chain experience and/or 5-7 years of contract management experience. Strong contract negotiating skills and experience are a fundamental requirement for this position; with 3-5 years in a recent position requiring use of these skills preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills to inform both small and large audiences are a necessity. Requires an individual with exceptional organizational skills who is accurate, timely, and detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure and follow-through tasks with minimal supervision, and strong analytical ability for performing effective quantitative analyses. Proficient use of MS Office products such as Excel and Access or equivalent spreadsheet and database software applications. Advanced certification with a professional organization is preferred.
