As a **Security Officer - Residential Entry Point** in **Myrtle Beach, SC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Professional, you will play a key role in access control at a residential location, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entrances and exits, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to foster a secure atmosphere. What You'll Do:

+ Monitor and control access to the residential location, verifying identification and credentials of residents, guests, and vendors.

+ Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting residents and visitors in a professional manner.

+ Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and the client site.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.

+ Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual activity, or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.

+ Support emergency response activities as needed, including assisting with evacuations or other site-specific emergency procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
