Bilingual Office Associate
$18 - $20 an hour based on experience
7am - 4pm
Monday - Friday
**Knowledge of Quick books General office skills, clerical background, ability to multitask
Job Summary: Primary task is to enter, process, confirm and generate orders and invoices. Provide assistance and back up other office positions. Qualified applicant will have a high school diploma and some prior accounting experience.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
The following are some of the duties that may be performed, this list is not all inclusive and may change at the discretion of the Manager.
•
Providing timely coverage of the telephone system along with other clerical duties.
•
Check in all UPS and Fed Ex shipments during the day. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
•
Ability to work with Excel, Word, QuickBooks.
•
Check prices, confirm orders, enter/change/edit orders, generate invoices for our major customers.
•
Learn aspects of the other office positions to provide backup in the event of vacations, time off, etc.
•
*** Tuesday & Friday hours may vary depending on assigned tasks – applicant is required to finish all assigned tasks prior to leaving***.
Work Environment:
•
Normal environment is an office setting with tiled floors.
•
Business casual attire.
•
Primary work area is in a temperature-controlled office. Secondary duties and/or during plant safety drills the employee could be exposed to temperatures ranging from 28°F-38°F, wet floors, and floors with blood/meat.
Requirements:
•
Attention to detail and work accuracy is a must. With a willingness to learn and perform multiple jobs.
•
45 wpm typing and 250 strokes 10 key are minimum requirements.
•
Knowledge of Excel, QuickBooks, Word, and Outlook.
•
Ability to perform data entry, file records, send emails, and faxes.
•
Strong data entry and accounting background is preferred.
•
Be able to lift 25lbs and occasionally 50lbs.
