As a **Security Officer - Access Management Full-Time** in **Yonkers, NY** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. What You'll Do:

+ Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the location, following established procedures and protocols.

+ Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises to maintain authorized access.

+ Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by responding to inquiries and assisting with directions or information as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter security-related incidents and identify any unusual activity.

+ Respond promptly and calmly to incidents and critical situations, following site-specific policies and emergency response procedures.

+ Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.

+ Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as needed to address and resolve security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

+ A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.

+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
