As a **Security Officer - Logistics Access Specialist** in **Olive Branch, MS** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points and conducting routine patrols within a busy logistics and distribution location. What You'll Do:

+ Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution location.

+ Verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises, following site-specific procedures and protocols.

+ Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and/or delivery personnel with inquiries and directions as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as appropriate per site guidelines.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to observe for irregularities and report any security-related concerns.

+ Document and report all security-related incidents, unusual occurrences, and/or maintenance issues according to Allied Universal and client protocols.

+ Assist in emergency response activities, including following evacuation procedures or providing information to first responders as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
