Medical Writer (Marketing / Healthcare)
**Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences** is hiring a **Medical Writer** on behalf of a leading pharmaceutical partner. This role supports the development of accurate, engaging, and compliant digital marketing content across multiple healthcare channels. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and experienced in translating complex medical information into clear, audience-appropriate messaging while adhering to regulatory standards.
**Pay** 60-69/hr depending on education and experience
Overview
The Medical Writer will partner closely with cross-functional marketing teams to develop and refine promotional healthcare content. This position emphasizes digital communications and requires familiarity with MLR processes, healthcare compliance, and the thoughtful use of AI-enabled tools to enhance content development while maintaining quality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
+ Collaborate with marketing and cross-functional teams to develop digital copy for websites, email campaigns, social media, and other promotional channels.
+ Adapt and refine content from existing commercial and medical assets, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with brand messaging.
+ Support the Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) review process by ensuring content meets compliance and promotional guidelines.
+ Utilize large language models (LLMs) and AI-enabled tools to support efficient content drafting.
+ Review, edit, and validate AI-generated content to ensure accuracy, appropriate tone, and regulatory compliance.
+ Verify references and source materials to maintain scientific integrity and credibility.
+ Stay current on healthcare marketing trends, compliance requirements, and emerging AI technologies.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
+ 5+ years of experience in healthcare marketing, medical writing, or a related role.
+ Strong understanding of healthcare terminology, compliance standards, and promotional regulations.
+ Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.
+ Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
+ Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills
+ Experience with digital marketing strategies and SEO best practices.
+ Working knowledge of FDA, EMA, or other global regulatory guidelines for healthcare communications.
+ Familiarity with AI-powered content tools, content management systems, and marketing automation platforms.

**Pay Details:** $60.00 to $69.00 per hour
