Description
The QA Inspector performs dimensional and functional testing to ensure compliance with established quality standards and customer specifications. The QA Inspector is responsible for documenting and communicating nonconformities to supervisor and engineering. All quality specifications, work instructions, as well as actions that support team work, safety, efficiency and cGMP adherence are to be followed.
- Perform incoming visual & dimensional inspection and disposition of components.
- Perform testing, measurements, in-process, and release testing as per the Quality specification.
- Initiate Discrepant Material Report for non-conformities.
- Participate in equipment qualification and validations.
- Initiate changes to quality documents in compliance with engineering, ISO and cGMP requirements.
- Initiate Supplier Corrective Action Request (SCAR).
- Responsible for the storage and maintenance of production test pieces.
- Maintain and archive quality documents.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brewster, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
