Job Title: HVAC/R Service Technician** **Job Description
As an HVAC/R Service Technician, you will be responsible for completing work assignments and prioritizing tasks in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration service. You will collaborate with management, co-workers, customers, and other business partners to identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations. Your role involves executing tasks, communicating progress, determining improvement opportunities, and adapting to changes and feedback.
Responsibilities
+ Complete work assignments and prioritize tasks using HVAC/R policies, data, and resources.
+ Build relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders to support business solutions.
+ Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local HVAC/R industry regulations and guidelines by conducting inspections and making necessary repairs.
+ Model compliance with company policies and procedures, supporting the company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
+ Complete and submit required paperwork such as expense vouchers, summaries, refrigerant logs, and work orders.
+ Manage refrigerant levels and parts inventory to ensure available resources for HVAC/R maintenance and repair.
+ Troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain, and repair HVAC/R and EMS equipment, performing major and minor preventive maintenance.
Essential Skills
+ Electrical and mechanical skills.
+ Troubleshooting and service experience.
+ Proficiency in using hand tools.
+ Field service and preventive maintenance expertise.
+ Vocational or Technical HVAC/R certification and 2 years' experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls, OR 4 years' experience in similar fields.
+ Type I and Type II Environmental Protection Agency certification for refrigerant handling.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ Willingness to travel domestically to and from multiple facilities or work-sites, including consecutive overnight stays.
+ Capability to work or train at multiple facilities or distant locations.

Work Environment
The role requires moving through narrow, confined spaces such as stacks of merchandise or supplies, storage areas, and closets.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Providence, RI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $105000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
The benefits will be provided to the candidate after the first rounds of screening are completed and there is more serious consideration for the role.
Workplace Type
This is a fully onsite position in Providence,RI.
