Responsibilities
+ Manage and perform field operations, including sampling, testing, special inspections, and observations according to ASTM, DOT, ACI, AWS, and IBC standards.
+ Support senior personnel with project execution and management through a comprehensive understanding of engineering practices, construction methodologies, and applicable codes and specifications.
+ Read, interpret, and apply construction plans and project specifications.
+ Conduct laboratory testing and analysis of construction materials using established methods and standards.
+ Perform physically demanding tasks such as navigating uneven terrain, standing for extended periods, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
+ Travel overnight up to 25% of the time.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
+ PMP certification and relevant construction project experience may be considered in place of a college degree.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Proven leadership or managerial experience.
+ Ability to maintain positive client relationships.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience developing and tracking project budgets and schedules is desired.
+ Successful project management experience will receive priority consideration.
+ Proficiency in report writing, organization, and effective use of technology.
Work Environment
The role involves both office and field work as needed. The position requires the ability to handle physical tasks, including navigating uneven terrain and lifting up to 50 lbs. Overnight travel may be required up to 25% of the time. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $75000.00/hr.
