Dual Rate Guest Room Attendant

Do you love to clean? We are looking for dedicated cleaning professionals!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• To understand standards of the rooms/suites cleanliness

• To constantly clean assigned rooms/suites to the standards of cleanliness of the hotel.

• Strips beds, collects dirty linens, and makes beds with fresh linens.

• Replenishes linens, amenities and other supplies in guest rooms.

• Wash, dry and fold linens in laundry area.

• Reports items found in guest rooms to Lead Guest Room Attendant, and properly tags lost and found items and delivers them to the Housekeeping Office, for storage.

• Takes responsibility for a “Room Key” during assigned shift, turning it in at the end of the shift to the appropriate person.

• Inspect rooms thoroughly as needed

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or GED preferred. Housekeeping Experience required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Directly supervises Guest Room Attendants. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training associates, planning, assigning, and directing work, addressing complaints and resolving problems.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
