Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a **PRN Multispecialty Ultrasound Technologist** to join our Imaging Department at **Baylor Scott & White Pflugerville Medical Center** . This PRN opportunity is ideal for an experienced sonographer who is flexible and available to provide coverage across **various shifts** , supporting both scheduled and as-needed imaging needs.

As a **Multispecialty Sonographer** , you will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations across multiple specialties while delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care in a collaborative hospital environment.

What You’ll Do

+ Perform **diagnostic ultrasound examinations** in two or more specialties according to established protocols.

+ Produce **high-quality sonographic images** and obtain accurate measurements for physician interpretation.

+ Identify, evaluate, and document abnormalities; expand exam scope when clinically appropriate.

+ Prepare and position patients; clearly explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation.

+ Assist providers with **ultrasound-guided procedures** when required.

+ Maintain ultrasound equipment, perform quality control, and troubleshoot issues as needed.

+ Follow all **infection control, safety, and patient-care standards** .

+ Collaborate with Radiologists, nurses, and imaging staff to support efficient workflow and patient satisfaction.

+ Accurately document procedures and maintain imaging records within **PACS and EMR systems** .

+ Participate in **call rotation** as required.

Requirements

+ **Education:** Graduate of an **Accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program**

+ **Experience:** Less than 1 year

+ **Certification / Licensure:**

+ Certified by **ARDMS** in at least **two specialties** , such as:

+ **RDMS:** AB, OB/GYN, BR, PS

+ **RDCS:** AE, FE, PE

+ **RVT** or **RMSKS**

+ **BLS Certification** (within 30 days of hire)

+ Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and sonographic principles

+ Excellent communication, patient-care, and problem-solving skills

+ Ability to adapt to a flexible PRN schedule
