    *This is a benefited, full time position generally working Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm or 7:45am-4:45pm as needed. Hours will vary as needed. Located at Scripps Clinic Mission Valley but may travel to other sites as needed. *

    *Why Mission Valley Allergy? *

    * Consists of two RNs and an LVN providing care for around 30 patients per day including allergy shots.

    * You will observe patients, do triage, provide education and documentation.

    * Conveniently located right off the 163 freeway.

    *What you'll do: *

    * This position is roughly 50/50 direct, face-to-face patient care vs. administrative care (phones, messaging, etc).

    * Ensure Scripps’ patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience.

    * Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice. Patient care includes:

    o compliance with patient assessments and care tasks

    o triaging

    o completion of clinical procedures

    o emergency protocols and medication administration.

    * Work collaboratively with the other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

    *Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:*

    * ADN or Nursing Diploma

    *Required Certification/Registration:*

    * CA RN license

    * BLS

    *Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:*

    * BSN

    * Two years RN experience (outpatient experience highly preferred)

    * Previous experience in allergy
