Responsibilities What You’ll Do As an Operator, you’ll play a key role in producing high-quality cable products by: Operating extrusion machines, let-off/take-up equipment, or machines on our Twist, Cable, and Braid lines. Performing quality checks and maintaining accurate documentation. Keeping equipment clean and running smoothly. Collaborating with a supportive team in a modern manufacturing environment. Qualifications What We’re Looking For High School Diploma or GED Basic math and computer skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Previous manufacturing or machine operator experience preferred (but not required for some roles!) Education & Experience Work Environment/Physical Demands: This position requires 20% clerical and planning and 80% material handling, production assembly machine operations, and/or walking and assisting production employees Work is primarily performed on the manufacturing floor where noise levels may be moderate or high and hearing protection may have to be worn Eye and foot protection may have to be worn There is potential for lifting weights up to 30 pounds may occur regularly, with a potential for lifting weights of up to 45 pounds on an occasional basis There is potential exposure to extreme temperatures The occasional physical demands of the position include climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, grasping, and eye/hand/foot coordination May stand or sit for prolonged periods of time What We Offer Ready to build something that matters?
