    Data Entry Specialist (Manufacturing)

     

    We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to support our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for executing ERP transactions accurately and timely, managing shop floor activities, and ensuring real-time data input for production and inventory processes.

     

    Pay Range: $20.00 – $25.00/hr

     

    Must-Haves

     

    + ERP system experience (Aptean preferred but not required)

    + Manufacturing or warehouse experience

    + Flexibility with shifts, including weekends

    Key Responsibilities

    + Execute ERP transactions accurately and on time

    + Open and close process orders daily

    + Perform order and inventory reconciliation

    + Manage shop floor activities and ensure real-time data input

    + Conduct bin counts and oversee inventory management

    + Utilize scanners for inventory and production tracking

    + Analyze production data for accuracy and ensure proper flow of raw materials and rework

    + Perform shift-to-shift and daily reconciliation across all production lines

    + Develop and create job aids for process improvement

    + Complete other duties as assigned

     

    Required Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Data entry proficiency and strong attention to detail

    + Experience with order entry and inventory reconciliation

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas and functions)

    + Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly

    + Ability to analyze and correct production data in real time

    + Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

    + English proficiency required; bilingual is a plus

     

    Shift Options

     

    + Option 1: 4 days/week, 10-hour shifts (must be open to Saturdays)

    + First shift: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM

    + Second shift: 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM

    + Option 2: 5 days/week, 8-hour shifts (must be open to Saturdays)

    + First shift: 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM

    + Second shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

    + Fast-paced manufacturing setting with hands-on involvement in production and inventory processes.

    This is a Contract position based out of Bay Shore, NY.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
