Senior Accountant

Compensation: $90,000 per year

Job Summary

System One is hiring a Senior Accountant for a client in the Claremore area within a manufacturing environment. This role is a key financial position responsible for complex accounting functions, cost accounting support, and financial reporting. The Senior Accountant will partner closely with Executive Leadership and cross-functional teams to support operational and strategic decision-making while ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

+ Manage the general ledger and maintain accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP and manufacturing standards

+ Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

+ Support manufacturing cost accounting, including inventory valuation and variance analysis

+ Assist with inventory management within the ERP system and support operations with inventory-related questions

+ Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable for accuracy and timeliness

+ Perform balance sheet account reconciliations

+ Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax requirements; prepare and file required tax returns

+ Maintain and strengthen internal controls; support audits and AS9100 financial process compliance

+ Partner with operations, supply chain, and engineering teams to provide financial insights for production planning and strategy

Qualifications

+ Strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills

+ Proficiency with ERP systems used in manufacturing environments

+ Advanced spreadsheet and financial analysis skills

+ Ability to present complex financial information to Executive Leadership

+ Knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and manufacturing financial practices

Education & Experience

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

+ Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience

+ Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
