    Assignment Dates: April 7 – May 22, 2026

     

    Schedule: Full-Time (In-Person) 8:00 AM – 3:45 PM (37.5 hrs/wk with paid breaks)

    Overview

     

    We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Professional Educator License (PEL) to join our team at a local school. This role focuses on supporting early childhood students through evaluations, therapy services, and collaborative interventions.

     

    ?

    Responsibilities

    + Student evaluations: Assess speech and language skills of children ages 2.5–5.

    + Therapy services: Provide early language and articulation therapy in accordance with individualized plans of care.

    + Documentation: Write comprehensive evaluation reports and share findings with staff.

    + MTSS support: Contribute to multi-tiered systems of support for student success.

    Caseload Information

     

    + Age levels: Early Childhood (2.5–5 years)

    + Number of students: 20 currently, anticipated 25–30

    + Setting: In-person, classroom-based

     

    ?

    Minimum Requirements

    + Active SLP Licensure in the state of Illinois

    + CCC-SLP certification preferred (may be required by contract/state)

    + Compliance with professional standards of practice

    + Current CPR certification if applicable

    + TB questionnaire/PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

    + Current health certificate (per contract/state regulation)

    + Federal, state, and local compliance with requirements

    + Previous SLP experience in a school or pediatric setting
