    About the Role

     

    Amergis is seeking a dedicated Speech-LanguagePathologist Assistant (SLPA) to support students in a school setting underthe supervision of a licensed SLP. This position offers the opportunity to makea meaningful impact by helping students develop communication skills essentialfor academic and social success.

    Day-to-Day Duties

    + Assist in implementing therapy plans under the supervision of an SLP

    + Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students

    + Conduct screenings and assessments as directed

    + Maintain documentation and progress notes

    + Collaborate with educators, families, and other school staff

    + Participate in team meetings to support student communication development

    Minimum Requirements

    + Active SLPA license in the state of assignment

    + Compliance with all professional standards of practice

    + Current CPR (if applicable)

    + TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable)

    + Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
