Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Fremont Unified School District Location: Fremont, CAPosition Type: Full-Time, In-Person
Fremont Unified School District is seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. This is a fully in-person role supporting students across the district. The position begins in January, with interviews scheduled during the first week of January 2026. There is a strong possibility for extension into the next school year.
+ Hourly Rate: $70 – $90 per hour
+ Weekly Hours: 37.5 hours per week
+ Contract Length: 36 weeks
Earnings Estimate:
+ At $70/hour:
+ Weekly: $2,625
+ 36 Weeks: $94,500
+ At $90/hour:
+ Weekly: $3,375
+ 36 Weeks: $121,500
+ Provide speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals.
+ Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to foster student success.
+ Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain accurate documentation.
+ Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions.
+ Travel between assigned elementary schools as needed for float coverage.
+ Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
+ Current California SLP license or eligibility for licensure.
+ Prior school-based experience preferred, but not required.
+ Strong communication and collaboration skills.
+ Interviews: First week of January 2026
+ Start Date: Immediately following interviews
+ Extension: Strong possibility for continuation into the next school year
