What We’re Looking For
We’re searching for a caring, patient, and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about early childhood development. Our ideal candidate is:

Key Qualifications
+ Must be at least 18 years old
+ Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education preferred
+ Completion of Montana state-required early childhood training within 6 months of hire
+ Completion of STARS Assistant Teacher training within 12 months
+ CPR/AED certified or able to obtain within 30 days (training provided)
+ Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
+ Genuine love for working with young children
About Our Center
Kid Kare and Kid Kare Infant Center are licensed by the state of Montana and rated STAR 3 in the STARS to Quality Program—reflecting our commitment to excellence.
We care for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years, serving Logan Health employees on a space-available basis. Our environment encourages exploration, self-sufficiency, curiosity, and early developmental milestones that set the foundation for lifelong learning.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Lead Teacher, you’ll take the helm in creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can thrive during their most formative years. Your leadership will guide both children and staff toward excellence in early childhood education. Daily responsibilities include:
Creating a Safe, Engaging Environment
+ Ensure all play and learning areas are hazard-free and meet health and safety standards.
+ Design and implement age-appropriate activities that spark curiosity, creativity, and cognitive growth.
+ Maintain compliance with Montana state daycare licensure and STARs program requirements.
Lead & Mentor
+ Model best practices for classroom management and child development.
+ Delegate tasks and mentor assistant teachers to foster teamwork and professional growth.
+ Support new staff through training and guidance, promoting a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
Support & Supervise Children
+ Provide consistent supervision and emotional support for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years.
+ Guide children through daily routines, play-based learning, and developmental milestones.
+ Identify and address developmental delays with appropriate strategies and resources.
Collaborate with Families
+ Communicate regularly with parents about developmental goals, behavior plans, and progress.
+ Build trusting relationships that respect each child’s background, abilities, and culture.
Administrative & Documentation
+ Accurately complete observations, developmental screenings, attendance records, and progress reports.
+ Ensure compliance with food program requirements and other regulatory standards.

Variable (United States of America)
Kid Kare Hours / Schedule: Monday - Friday | 6:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.
A flexible work schedule is required including holidays, overtime, weekend assignments, with the potential for assignments to alternative shifts.
