Position:

Aligned Modern Health seeks a “detail fanatic” Human Resources Generalist to lead all company HR-related duties, including: policies/procedures, benefits administration, employee relations, training and development, performance management, recruitment and onboarding, DEI initiatives, and helping define and improve the work culture. This position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and is based in the Chicagoland area. The role pays $65,000-$75,000 per year (based on experience).

Key Responsibilities.

+ Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture by managing employee relations matters, resolving conflicts, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and providing guidance to managers and staff on performance, conduct, and workplace policies.

+ Partner with the Director of Recruiting and hiring managers to support recruitment efforts, including job description creation, interviewing, offer letters, background checks, and new hire communications.

+ Manage the orientation and on-boarding process for all new employees.

+ Research, implement and support the administration of all company benefit plans, including annual renewals and open enrollment.

+ Administer the HRIS management system and support the payroll process.

+ Oversee employee leaves, including drafting and coordinating required documentation and notifications.

+ Lead and maintain the annual performance evaluation cycle.

+ Assist with wellness efforts, event planning, coordination of bi-annual “All Teams” meetings, DEI initiatives, and special projects/committees.

+ Maintain accurate and compliant Human Resources systems and records.

+ Other duties as assigned.

Who You Are:

+ A detail oriented and organized self-starter with a passion for healthcare and wellness

+ A team player with a proactive mindset, collaborative spirit and ability to adapt in a fast-growing environment

Requirements:

+ Bachelor's degree required in Business, Human Resources, or related field.

+ 2-5 years of experience in all aspects of human resources.

+ PHR/SHRM-CP certification is a plus.

+ Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to present and train others.

+ Extremely detail-oriented, highly organized, and self-motivated.

+ Client focused, customer service disposition.

+ Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple projects/priorities simultaneously and exercise a high level of confidentiality.

+ Knowledge of payroll software, experience with “Rippling” is highly preferred.

+ Working knowledge of MS Office, GSuite, HRIS and other databases.

+ Visit each of our 16 Chicagoland area clinics on a monthly basis.
