    Summary Purpose for the Position

     

    Provides statewide leadership, management, and oversight for the service delivery system for training & employment and other supportive programs including responsibility for grant compliance, budgetary monitoring, public advocacy, staff supervision and program direction, evaluation and planning for multiple programs and sites.

     

    Requirements (Education, Experience, Certification, Knowledge, Skill)

     

    Position requires extensive administrative, management and program experience as demonstrated through at least 6 years of program experience and/or education.

     

    Bachelor’s degrees may be included, and/or experience in job training programs, social service, human service and adult education programs.

     

    Demonstrates grant writing experience & grant development.

     

    Experience in developing, implementing and monitoring budgets and programs.

     

    Experience supervising a diverse work force.

     

    Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite/MIS and Project profile systems and troubleshooting program performance.

     

    Experience in operating violence prevention and/or reentry programs.

     

    Experience supervising individuals with lived experience.

    Position Responsibilities

    Develops, analyzes and achieves programmatic goals and objectives.

     

    Identify service gaps and develop solutions.

     

    Monitor field offices to better evaluate effectiveness of program, staff, services and suggest solutions

     

    Identify strategies to develop/maintain partnership with local, state and federal officials.

     

    Meet regularly with funders and program collaborators including local law enforcement.

     

    Meet regularly with direct supervisor

     

    Meet regularly with staff to ensure they are abreast of information, actions of agency.

     

    Develop implementation, monitor outreach/recruitment plan to ensure targeted populations have access to PathStone services including establishing seasonal operations.

    Develops budgets for new and existing funding and from a multiple managed budgets

     

    Preparation, monitoring and compliance of program budgets.

     

    Responsible for the direct supervision of maximum of 10 intermediate level supervisors and professional staff.

     

    Develop, implement and monitor realistic workplans for all staff.

     

    Conducts timely, quality annual evaluations identifying needed training and/or skill building.

     

    Working Conditions/Environment

     

    Requires moderate exposure to individuals at high risk of being infected with serious illness.

     

    Extensive travel in and outside state

     

    Flexible work hours, including evenings and weekends.

     

    Transportation Requirement

     

    Position requires automobiles, driver’s license and insurance.
