    Summary:

    The Products and Applied Research organization in MSL is tasked with building new zero-to-one AI products, along with supporting many AI features in existing Meta products, used by billions of people every day. As a TPM, you will be responsible for delivering significant business value through AI innovations. You will work across a talent-dense team of AI engineers, scientists, product managers, data scientists, and other cross-functional team members to help evaluate models, build state-of-the-art techniques, and build effective tools and strategies to streamline model productionization, while holding a high quality bar. You will be part of a highly technical, AI-native team that is bold and moves fast.You’ll apply your extensive technical background to define functional requirements for new products and features, guide high-level goals and roadmaps, monitor and communicate progress, and drive program execution efficiently through cross-functional and cross-organizational collaboration. You’ll be an integral part of the team who will drive technical strategy, system architectural discussions, and make future-proof decisions that align with product strategy and vision. We are in the early stages of MSL’s formation, and as we grow over the next many years, you will grow with the organization and help shape it.

    Required Skills:

    Technical Program Manager - MSL (Meta SuperIntelligence Labs) Responsibilities:

    1. Develop and manage end-to-end technical AI/ML product solutions and ensure on-time delivery

    2. Manage and own cross-functional products and programs execution in a matrix organization

    3. Drive and influence technical and product strategy, proactively identify risks and develop mitigation strategies, align on priorities, and set direction for a broadly cross-functional area

    4. Help define the roadmap and long-term strategy of the teams that you are working with

    5. Design measurements to track impact and drive internal process improvements

    6. Communicate the technology, requirements, goals and milestones of your team

    7. Move fast in a flat organization by working in concert with technical program managers, product managers and engineers across Meta to establish a shared vision for improving execution and building solutions

    8. Ongoing communication of planning, project status, issues and risks in a timely fashion to stakeholders

    9. Help drive product decisions to align with higher company initiative

    Minimum Qualifications:

    10. 12+ years of software engineering, systems engineering, hardware engineering, or technical product/program management experience

    11. Experience driving and delivering complex AI/ ML tech programs or products from inception to delivery

    12. Experience defining strategic direction and identifying new opportunities for impact amongst products, platforms and programs

    13. Knowledge of user needs, gathering requirements, and defining scope

    14. Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams and functions, demonstrated critical thinking, and thought leadership

    15. Organizational, coordination and multi-tasking experience

    16. Communication experience at executive level and experience influencing decision. makers and technical management teams to develop systems, solutions, and products

    17. Analytical and problem-solving experience with large-scale systems

    18. Experience establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams and multiple partners in different time zones

    Public Compensation:

    $195,000/year to $267,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
