    Summary:

    + The Director for TA Strategies and Programs is responsible for building talent pipelines and workforce development programs for current and future workforce needs across the health system. This leader will establish and enhance external partnerships within the various communities within the health system, including but not limited to colleges and universities, workforce development groups, school districts, etc. in addition to developing and growing internal pipeline programs to drive employee development, growth and placement into much needed critical roles.

    Responsibilities:

    + Builds relationships with key external vendors, agencies, organizations, bodies, colleges, universities, school districts and institutes that can support the health system’s workforce development initiatives.

    + Provides consultative services to all levels of management to meet recruiting needs.

    + Develops and leads a team focused on sourcing, and pipeline building across the system.

    + Oversees all recruitment events within all the regions of the health system.

    + Implements employer branding activities and resources.

    + Oversees all marketing and advertising activity to ensure Penn Medicine brand is compelling and the health system is well positioned in the market to attract the best talent.

    + Responsible for talent analytics, establishing KPI’s to evaluate the impact and success of talent programs and adjusting strategy based on insights; ensures metrics includes forecasting of recruitment needs across the system.

    + Leads and creates sourcing strategies for critical roles across the system, trains and ensures qualified candidates are being properly sourced and directed to recruiting team.

    + Oversee RPO partner and monitors ongoing performance.

    + Working with business units and leadership, to design, and implement successful execution of talent management strategies, programs and processes.

    + In collaboration with senior leadership, developing, promoting and facilitating talent review and succession planning processes, identifying and creating development plans for key talent, and supporting/monitoring their implementation.

    + Developing and managing Apprenticeship and Internship programs, to serve as channels for talent acquisition and community involvement.

    Education or Equivalent Experience:

    + H.S. Diploma/GED is required.

    + Bachelor's degree is preferred.

    + 10+ years Recruiting experience to include proven work experience spent developing and leading Talent Acquisition and Talent Management strategies is required.

    + 8+ years Developing and leading talent acquisition and talent management strategies is required.

    + 3+ years Leading a recruitment/TA function in a senior level role with direct impact to the overall performance and delivery of the recruitment function is required.
