Summary
Join our team and make a meaningful impact in behavioral health care! This position is responsible for delivering direct patient care across all developmental populations, ensuring a safe and supportive environment. Key responsibilities include maintaining milieu and patient safety, leading daily skill-building and psychoeducational groups, and observing and documenting patient behavior. You’ll also play a vital role in assisting the multidisciplinary team with placement, discharge planning, treatment coordination, linkage to community resources, and crisis intervention—all while collaborating to achieve quality, cost-effective outcomes for patients.
Education
+ Bachelor’s degree in psychology, human services, or a related field.
Licensure/Certification
+ Valid driver’s license required if assigned to drive a company vehicle; proof of insurance required if driving a personal vehicle.
+ CPR certification within 60 days of hire; NVCI certification within 90 days.
Experience
+ 1 year of experience required (will consider other relevant experience).
Other Qualifications
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
+ Ability to lift 50 pounds and assist with 100 pounds.
