Scope:
The Industrial Engineer is responsible for developing, optimizing, and improving manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure high product quality.The role partners with production, quality, maintenance, die shop, and safety to drive continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
+ Ownership of Cost Savings Targets and implementation of Continuous Improvement projects to ensure targets are met.
+ Support of Quality Manager through 8D Problem Solving
+ Process Optimization: Analyze workflow to identify bottlenecks and eliminate waste.
+ Develop process flow diagrams, layouts and time studies to ensure efficient use of resources and optimal workflow.
+ Support cross-functional teams in troubleshooting production issues and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
+ Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Die Shop, and Supply Chain departments to resolve production issues and ensure compliance with quality management systems.
+ Performs other duties or projects as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities:
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Basic Math Skills.
+ Highly Motivated.
+ Metrics/KPI Data Driven
+ Ability to lift 50 lbs. as required.
+ Ability to bend, stoop, walk, twist, lift, stand, push, and pull materials.
+ Strong time management and prior management skills.
+ Analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Computer knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Education and Experience:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
+ 2-5 Years Manufacturing Leadership role.
+ 5-10 Years of Manufacturing Experience.
+ Strong Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, Green Belt or Higher Preferred.
+ Proficiency with CAD.
+ Experience with statistical analysis and use of tools such as Minitab or JMP.
+ Excellent problem solving, communication, and project management skills.
