    Radiation Oncology

    Job Summary:

    RWJBH is seeking a full-time days Advanced Practice Provider in the Radiation Oncology department at the New Brunswick campus

    Essential Functions:

    + The focus of this role is outpatient management of the radiation oncology patient

    + Medial knowledge includes oncology diagnosis and management through assessment and diagnosis

    + Patient care includes collaboration with physician team and multidisciplinary oncology team

    + Independent survivorship care and symptom management are essential skills

    + Candidate should possess effective time management and patient assessment skills

    + Must be able to adapt and adjust to a large volume acute patient population

    + Must be able to assess and present critical patient concerns in a clear and concise manner

    + Must be able to work collegially with the surgical resident team

    Education:

    + Graduate from NP program with certification in primary care

    + Physician Assistants need to have graduated from accredited PA program

    Experience

    + 0-3 years of oncology experience

    + Willing to consider new graduates with a desire for oncology patient management

     

    Licenses and Certifications

     

    + Current NJ APN/PA license required

    + NCCPA certification required

    + CDS required

    + DEA required

    + RN required

    + BLS required
