    Summary

    Join our team as a Senior Compensation Analyst and play a key role in shaping competitive, compliant, and strategic pay programs that attract and retain top talent. In this role, you’ll administer sales compensation programs, analyze market trends, manage salary structures, and drive initiatives that align with Freeman’s business objectives—all while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a great employee experience.

     

    This position will support our Human Resources team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 2-3 days per week. This position is based out of our North Dallas office in Dallas, TX.

     

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

     

    + Analyze, administer, and maintain sales compensation programs—including base salary structures, incentive plans, and commission programs—by gathering and reviewing plan terms, partnering with stakeholders to validate performance against goals, and ensuring payout accuracy through thorough calculation reviews and compliance checks.

    + Maintain and update salary structures, job classifications, and pay grades to support organizational goals.

    + Process compensation changes including merit increases, promotions, and adjustments with precision and timeliness.

    + Analyze market data through salary surveys to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices.

    + Deliver insights by preparing compensation reports and dashboards for HR leadership and business partners.

    + Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour regulations.

    + Support audits and compliance reviews for compensation programs.

    + Partner with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition to provide expert compensation guidance.

    + Respond to employee questions on pay policies and practices with clarity and professionalism.

    + Develop project timelines and ensure deliverables are met for compensation-related initiatives, including documentation, training, and accurate incentive payout processes.

    + Lead Projects to configure and maintain compensation modules in HRIS systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors).

    + Collaborate with IT on system upgrades and testing for incentive plan automation.

     

    Education & Experience

     

    + Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field is required.

    + 5+ years of experience in compensation analysis or HR administration.

    + Expertise in HRIS compensation modules (SAP SuccessFactors preferred).

    + Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas) for incentive calculations and analytics.

    + Experience automating incentive plan calculations and workflows for accuracy and efficiency.

    + Experience utilizing AI tools for job description benchmarking and market analysis.

    + Strong project management skills with the ability to deliver on time and within scope.

    + Experience maintaining job architecture frameworks.

    + Exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.

    + Excellent communication and customer service orientation.
