    UnityPoint Clinic is a physician-led, nonprofit health care organization offering comprehensive services in primary care, walk-in care and specialty care. The clinical teams at the area’s clinics are improving outcomes, lowering the number of hospital readmissions and reducing avoidable costs associated with treating chronic conditions.     Overview

     

    + Growing practice

    + Current providers: 6 Cardiologists and 3 Advanced Practice Providers

    + Clinic Hours: M-F 8a-5p

    + Good work/life balance

    + Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical who know the patients extremely well

    + Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination

    Responsibilities

    + 12-16 patients/day

    + Occasional outreach clinic coverage

    + 1 Physician and 1 APP rounding on inpatients each week

    + 1:4 call schedule requirement

    + Procedures; TEE and Vascular Studies optional, NOT required

    + 50% of clinic schedule left open each day to accommodate same-day study add-ons

    + Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills

    + Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve

    + Provide the best outcome for every patient every time

    Responsibilities

    + Board Eligible or Board Certified

    + Hold an unrestricted license to practice medicine in Iowa

    + Eligible to work in the United States

    + Ability to work as a team member
