Global Real Estate operations create a modern infrastructure where IBM’s greatest innovations can happen.
Your role and responsibilities
As an intern, you will contribute to core environmental programs including chemical management, air emissions, water treatment and conservation, and waste management. Specific role and responsibilities will be dependent on the applicant’s skills and interests, but the intern will be exposed to all aspects of environment and sustainability programs and gain an in-depth understanding of the business and what makes it work. All applicants should be:

* Be a strong communicator and collaborator, be organized
* Looking to grow their skills and career in the environmental sector
Required technical and professional expertise
* Pursuing a degree in chemistry, environmental engineering/science, or a related field
* Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, and PowerPoint
* Good quantitative and data analysis skills
* Organized and strong communication skills
Preferred technical and professional experience
* Knowledge or experience with environmental regulation and compliance
* At least two semesters of college-level chemistry
