Job Summary and Qualifications
What you will do in this role:
+ You will perform routine preventative maintenance tasks on various Hospital systems and equipment as required to assure optimum efficiency, reliability and safety.
+ You will maintain full compliance with OSHA lock out / tag out safety practices.
+ You will consistently utilizes approved PPE for safety as required.
+ You will label equipment out of service and informs staff of back up equipment in a timely manner.
+ You will properly operate and respond to use oft two- way radio communications in a timely manner.
+ You will assist other department staff and accepts additional responsibilities as given by department Manager.
What qualifications you will need:
+ Competent in use of various hand tools, diagnostic and repair equipment.
+ Ability to interpret blue prints/drawings.
+ Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
+ Good written/oral communication skills.
+ Familiar with basic NFPA, ASRAE Standards and the ability to learn JCAHO Standards and develop and implement new policies.
+ Good Computer system skills required.
+ High school diploma or GED required.
+ A valid Tennessee driver’s license required.
+ Three years minimum Healthcare or equivalent experience required.
TriStar Summit is a 230+ bed comprehensive facility. We serve Davidson, Wilson and surrounding counties. We include a Level III Trauma Center. We offer a full array of acute care services. These include cardiology, oncology, orthopaedics/spine, rehabilitation and women’s services. We are an Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI. We are a Primary Stroke Center.
