As a **Security Guard - Armed Patrol Aero Sector** in **Jacksonville, FL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas in an aerospace and defense location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This armed position involves conducting routine patrols, responding to alarms, and delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and protect assets.

+ Monitor access control points and check credentials to help maintain authorized entry to restricted areas.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with employees, visitors, and law enforcement as necessary.

+ Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to company and client requirements.

+ Remain alert to unusual conditions or potential threats within the location, escalating concerns as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.

+ An armed guard card or license is required.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
