As a **Security Guard - Distribution Entry - Weekdays** in **Hutchins, TX** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

+ Conduct screening procedures for individuals entering the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items.

+ Provide customer service by following site-specific security-related policies and procedures, and responding appropriately to inquiries and situations.

+ Assist in emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and site leadership.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of screening activities and incidents as required by site protocols.

+ Work collaboratively with site staff and other Allied Universal personnel to support security-related operations at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
