To continue laying the groundwork, challenge what's possible and celebrate the power of inclusion, we seek to partner with driven individuals who are ready to elevate their career with us. *Work Arrangement* Hybrid – Jacksonville, FL. *What You'll Do:* Responsible for overseeing the proper manning of vessels by ensuring mariners possess the required qualifications for assigned positions and coordinating timely, cost‑effective travel to fill billets. Develops and executes strategic manning plans for fleet vessels, including forecasting crew requirements, establishing training schedules, and providing professional development guidance to support mariner growth and readiness. *Key Responsibilities:* · Serve as the subject matter expert on crewing, working independently with minimal supervision. · Ensure vessels are staffed with qualified, physically fit, and capable mariners for all required positions. · Verify validity and currency of crew documents, credentials, training, medical clearances, and drug-free requirements. · Coordinate crew travel to and from vessels in a cost-effective manner. · Interpret and apply multiple union contracts, customer requirements, and regulatory standards. · Prepare and maintain accurate personnel records in coordination with other company departments. · Identify and address discrepancies or expirations in personnel qualifications. · Assist in identifying training needs and developing training plans. · Support crew development initiatives and succession planning strategies. · Forecast crew rotations based on mariner skill level, training, availability, and security clearance requirements. · Provide high-quality customer service and direct communication regarding mariner assignments. · Collaborate with union hiring halls to dispatch mariners and assist in grievance resolution processes. · Contribute to the standardization and streamlining of departmental processes and training programs. · Generate reports on manpower, work utilization, and assignments as required. · Participate in unemployment hearings when necessary. *Education & Credentials:* High School or GED. *Experience:* 1 to 3 years of experience in marine crewing operations or Associate/Bachelor's degree. *Technical Skills:* · Microsoft Outlook · Microsoft Excel · Oracle · NS5 · Anderson-Kelly web portal · SIU web portal · AMO web portal · USCG web portal *Competencies:* · Ability to multi-task. · Ability to solve problems. · Ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills, written and verbally. · Ability to apply skill sets and demonstrate proven experience developing, improving, and streamlining processes to meet established goals and objectives. · Ability to effectively manage projects that may vary in nature and scope. · Must be available/on-call after hours for emergency crew requests. · May require travel to multiple locations. *What We Offer:* *We inspire top talent by offering a comprehensive and competitive package that supports the diverse needs of our people—on land, at sea, in offices, and remotely.* Our Total Rewards include: · Competitive pay with recognition programs · Comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability coverage, and paid vacation and holidays · Leave and family support: parental leave and sick leave · Learning and growth: access to training and development for continuous skill development · Well-being resources: Employee Assistance Program, wellness program, and gym membership discounts *At Crowley, we invest in you—your success, your health, and your future.* **Job:** **Human Resources* **Organization:** **Labor & Employee Relations US 9036* **Title:** *Administrator, Crewing* **Location:** *FL-JACKSONVILLE* **Requisition ID:** *USA0003OC*
