Description We are looking for an experienced Payroll Supervisor/Manager to join our team on a long-term contract basis in New York, New York. This role requires someone who is highly attentive to detail, adept at managing complex payroll operations, ensuring compliance, and providing accurate and timely payroll support. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in multi-state and international payroll processes while demonstrating strong organizational and analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and process bi-weekly payroll runs for a large employee base, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Manage compliance with state and federal payroll tax regulations, including filing necessary tax forms.

• Review and approve payroll transactions, including deductions, garnishments, and expenses.

• Provide ad-hoc payroll support and address employee inquiries related to payroll matters.

• Ensure seamless operations for multi-state and international payroll processes.

• Utilize Rippling software to manage payroll systems effectively.

• Analyze payroll data using Excel to identify trends and ensure data accuracy.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain compliance and improve payroll procedures.

• Monitor and enforce policies related to payroll deductions and garnishments.

• Conduct periodic audits to guarantee payroll accuracy and compliance. Requirements • Proven experience in full-cycle payroll management for organizations with over 500 employees.

• Strong knowledge of multi-state and international payroll processes.

• Proficiency in bi-weekly payroll procedures and tax compliance.

• Familiarity with Rippling software and advanced Excel capabilities.

• Expertise in managing garnishments, deductions, and payroll expenses.

• Ability to ensure compliance with state and federal payroll regulations.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Strong analytical abilities to handle complex payroll data and resolve discrepancies.
