Description
Robert Half is partnering with a mission-driven organization in San Diego to identify a Bilingual Customer Experience Specialist (Spanish/English). This role is ideal for a service-oriented professional who is passionate about supporting diverse communities and delivering compassionate, high-quality customer service.
This is a contract-to-permanent opportunity with long-term growth potential. The role will be fully onsite for the first six months, transitioning to a hybrid schedule (3 days remote, 2 days in office) thereafter.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Respond promptly and professionally to inbound calls, providing accurate information, resources, and referrals
+ Document client interactions thoroughly and consistently in web-based systems and CRM platforms
+ Maintain up-to-date knowledge of available programs, services, and community resources
+ Collaborate with internal teams to resolve client concerns and ensure timely follow-up
+ Deliver exceptional customer service with empathy, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity
+ Utilize CRM systems and call center tools to manage customer interactions efficiently
+ Support billing and benefits-related functions while ensuring accuracy and compliance
+ Assist clients with navigating computer systems and online platforms
+ Conduct bilingual communication in Spanish and English to support a diverse client base
+ Adhere to call center best practices and procedures, including use of systems such as Avaya CMS and Epic
Requirements
Qualifications:
+ Bilingual in Spanish and English (required)
+ Previous experience in customer service, call center, nonprofit, healthcare, or social services preferred
+ Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
+ Comfort using CRM systems and web-based platforms
+ Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion
+ Reliable, adaptable, and committed to a mission-driven work environment
