    Description

    This position assists in the overall management of assigned projects to ensure compliance within required budgetary scheduling and safety goals. Employees in this role support construction work performed by contractors and/or vendors at the project site. Responsibilities include assessing productivity schedule compliance work quality and safety performance on assigned projects. Participates in walk downs of planned work validates acceptance of completed work to design requirements and reviews contractor payment requests. Verifies constructability ensures proper resource allocation assesses field status and resolves issues as needed. Coordinates project activities with vendors suppliers regulatory agencies local community officials and the company. Assists in scope control budget oversight resolution of technical issues performance reporting scheduling and work-in-progress. Interfaces with landowners local regulators and state agencies. Reinforces expectations related to safety procedure compliance lessons learned corrective action and appropriate work behaviors for employees and contractor staff. Coordinates activities or groups such as safety programs engineering construction budget analytics and contract administration. Interfaces with the projects designated management committee. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. This is an office-based role that can incorporate travel on an as-needed basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction/renewables industry demonstrated experience in project management and experience interfacing with a wide variety of stakeholders across multiple disciplines.Education: A bachelors degree in Engineering Project Management Land Surveying or a related field is required with PMP certification preferred.

     

    Relevant Experience: 11 - 15 years of experience leading construction projects and managing scope control scheduling and compliance requirements. Strong organizational skills familiarity with project management tools and excellent communication abilities are essential.Responsibilities: Oversees project planning interfaces with suppliers and contractors and leads technical execution to maintain adherence to safety and performance goals. Ensures risk mitigation project budget adherence and optimization of resource allocation at the site level. Prepares and assists in hosting pre-bid/pre-construction meetings meets with internal stakeholders regularly for on-going project status updates.Other: Experience with PM scheduling software Microsoft Project Smartsheet and understanding of wind turbine construction and inspections. Project Management Professional PMP Certification preferred.

    Indiantown FL

    Must have at least 7 years Generator maintenance experience in Power Generation industry able to work with industrial personal protection equipment and the ability to climb turbine deck get in boiler wear respiration mask. Supervise Power Plant overhaul/outage planning/execution work lead crew before act as the Owner Representative of NextEra Energy coordinate with vendors to execute the company's contracted work plan with required specifications ensure the work is performed safely with quality and on schedule. Need to qualify NextEra LOTO In Plant Clearance requirements after training be able to travel to work site and work at overhaul/outage schedule .

     

    - Mechanical coordinator must have prior Steam/ Combustion turbine HRSG Boiler or Valve maintenance oversight experience familiar with BOP Balance of Plant equipment P91 welding experience is a plus.

     

    -Electrical coordinator must have Generator Exciter Auxiliary equipment maintenance supervision experience have prior Electrical Supervisor/Superintendent role grounding medium/low voltage transformer hands-on experience PID

     

    -Instrument Control IC coordinator must have instrumentation control systems calibration testing and tuning experience have prior field work on Distributive Control Systems DCS i.e.. GE Mark 5/6 Ovation Commissioning Startup of DCS before familiar with PID electrical and mechanical drawings

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $58.00/hr.
