Job Title: Quality EngineerJob Description
Join our team as a Quality Engineer on a minimum 6-month contract where you will have the opportunity to contribute to the aerospace industry by ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance. You will be responsible for creating comprehensive work instructions, conducting internal audits, and collaborating with suppliers to resolve quality issues.
Responsibilities
+ Create work instructions with an emphasis on uniformity and consistency, using process frameworks provided by functional owners.
+ Perform internal audits against AS9100 requirements or ISO 9001 standards.
+ Execute corrective actions to completion, ensuring effective root cause identification.
+ Collaborate with suppliers to obtain necessary information and drive issue resolution.
+ Review, approve, and escalate non-conformances based on their severity.
+ Review and approve first article inspection reports submitted by suppliers.
+ Respond to compliance requests for RoHS, Reach, and CMRT compliance.
+ Interpret complex regulations to understand company obligations and appropriate actions.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in quality engineering.
+ Experience with AS9100 and ISO 9001 audits.
+ Ability to develop corrective action plans.
+ Supplier quality management skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree required.
+ Minimum 8 years of audit experience, particularly with AS9100. Certification is a plus.
+ Minimum 8 years of experience creating work instructions.
+ Minimum 8 years of experience in corrective actions.
+ Minimum 5 years of experience with RoHS, Reach, and CMRT compliance requests.
Work Environment
Work in a very clean, air-conditioned production floor that offers a small shop, family-like environment with approximately 40 employees. The team has recently moved to a brand new facility near the Majestic Theatre, fostering a great culture that is both inviting and collaborative.

This is a Contract position based out of Sussex, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
