What You’ll Do
As a key contributor on our mechanical design team, you will:
+ Design HVAC and plumbing systems for a wide range of building types.
+ Produce high‑quality plans, schematics, and technical specifications.
+ Perform equipment selection and precise load calculations.
+ Work closely with associates, clients, and project managers to guide projects from kickoff through successful closeout.
+ Attend project meetings to represent the mechanical team and travel to sites nationwide for surveys and documentation.
+ Play an important role in ensuring each project is delivered efficiently, accurately, and on schedule.
What You Bring
+ 2–5 years of mechanical (HVAC/plumbing) design or drafting experience.
+ Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
+ Understanding of NEC basics, circuiting, panel schedules, and lighting layouts.
+ Ability to collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplinary engineering environment.
Bonus Points / Nice-to-Haves
+ EIT certification (or working toward it).
+ Willingness to travel for project surveys.
+ Excellent technical writing abilities.
+ Strong verbal communication, presentation skills, and client-facing confidence.
+ Proven problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
+ Ability to balance independent work with productive teamwork.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of New York, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $48.00/hr.
