    We are seeking a dedicated Quality Technician to play a crucial role in maintaining and improving product quality standards. This position involves assisting in various quality assurance activities including audits, inspections, and process evaluations to ensure all products meet design specifications and company standards.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist in first article inspections, FMEA, PFMEA, and out-of-box audits to ensure products meet design specifications and identify potential areas of improvement.

    + Support the qualification of raw materials and component parts, ensuring they align with quality standards through PPAP and ongoing quality monitoring.

    + Contribute to in-process controls and resolution of component issues.

    + Help develop quality processes and documentation to ensure supplier products and processes meet technical standards.

    + Inspect selected incoming materials for compliance with specifications, such as drawings, BOMs, routing guides, workmanship standards, and safety requirements.

    + Collect data and generate inspection and discrepant material reports, as well as manage product movements.

    + Perform source inspections and audits to validate product conformance, internal manufacturing/assembly processes, and supplier process controls.

    + Maintain accurate quality records of inspection and audit activities.

    + Support routine maintenance and calibration of quality equipment.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with quality and inspection equipment.

    + Proficiency in interpreting 3D CAD drawings and Bill of Material structures.

    + Experience using Microsoft Office.

    + Prior experience with ERP systems.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Knowledge of quality control techniques and tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

    + Ability to read full engineering drawings and obtain measurements.

    + Experience in first article inspections and receiving inspections to ensure quality control.

    Work Environment

    The Quality Technician will work in a collaborative environment, utilizing quality control equipment and software to maintain high standards. The role may involve routine maintenance and calibration activities, and the technician will be expected to adhere to standard safety and quality practices.

    This is a Contract position based out of Saint Paul, MN.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $31.00/hr.
