1st Shift - CNC Mill Machinist - Pay up to $33/hr

Job Description

As a CNC Mill Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating 2-3 CNC machines within your cell. You will work with CNC Mills, specifically setting up and operating Mori Seki and Doosan Mills, and will handle various tasks such as indicating parts during setup, working with Fanuc systems, and following blueprints and tooling instructions.

Responsibilities

+ Set up and operate CNC Mills, including Mori Seki & Doosan Mills.

+ Indicate parts during the setup process.

+ Work with Fanuc systems and interpret blueprints, tooling instructions, and work instructions.

+ Operate multiple machines simultaneously.

+ Responsible for documentation and editing programs.

+ Complete tooling changes and compute data such as dimensions, rotation speeds, feed rates, and machining times.

+ Collaborate with supervisors, programmers, engineers, and support teams to resolve problems.

+ Rotate between various department work centers as required.

+ Load and unload component piece parts up to 25 lbs.

Work Environment

The work environment includes a shift starting at 5a/6a until 2:30p, and consists of CNC Mill, Grinders, a full manual machining department, small quality department, and deburring department. The company focuses heavily on the aerospace market and manufactures high-quality custom precision gearing and gearboxes. The facility offers in-house heat treating, gear cutting, and gear grinding capabilities, ensuring high precision for demanding applications. Employees are expected to adhere to shop safety standards and a casual dress code appropriate for a machining environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $68640.00/yr.
