    Job Title: Test Operator

    Job Description

    Join the team as a Test Operator where you will engage in testing advanced lift equipment on our outdoor track. Embrace the opportunity to work with industry-leading brands in a dynamic and challenging environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Test lift equipment on the outdoor track.

    + Operate machinery such as forklifts, skid steers, bulldozers, and other heavy equipment.

    + Perform duties in varying weather conditions including extreme cold or heat, rain, and snow.

    + Load equipment onto a tower at 52 feet.

    + Maintain a mandatory work schedule of six days per week when work is available.

    Essential Skills

    + Ability to operate machinery including forklifts, farm equipment, and construction equipment.

    + Mechanically sound with the ability to perform basic maintenance tasks like checking oil levels and changing tires.

    + Capability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

    + Free of depth perception issues that cannot be corrected with glasses.

    + Comfortable working at heights without fear.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High School Diploma or GED required.

    + Experience in landscape companies or farms operating equipment is beneficial.

    Work Environment

     

    Work outdoors on the R&D test track, exposed to various weather conditions ranging from very cold to very hot, including rain and snow. Expect a dynamic work schedule with shifts available in the morning, afternoon, and night.

    This is a Contract position based out of Orrville, OH.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.50/hr.
