    Job Title: Conventional Machinist** **Job Description

     

    Join our team as a Conventional Machinist, where you'll operate and set up conventional lathe machines to repair and overhaul aircraft components. This role is crucial in ensuring the high-quality maintenance of essential aviation parts.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate conventional lathe machines for the repair and overhaul of aircraft components.

    + Perform set up of machines and ensure accurate operation.

    + Work from drawings, sketches, and conduct reverse engineering to achieve desired outcomes.

    + Collaborate with shop personnel and engineering teams.

    + Utilize equipment such as mills, lathes, and grinders efficiently.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum 3 years experience with machining.

    + Proficiency in operating and setting up conventional lathe machines.

    + Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints.

    + Strong focus on conventional machines, excluding CNC experience.

    Work Environment

    Our work environment is a dynamic FAA Repair Station, specializing in the repair and overhaul of various components, with a particular focus on landing gear. The facility operates on a first shift schedule from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $72000.00/yr.
